Episode Three of Behind the Tinsel

Posted by Bombyx Mori on March 20th, 2009

We are proud to bring you the next instalment of Behind The Tinsel from Glassbox TV. Fresh Produce is the third episode in the series, in which Bill tells us how no two shows are the same. He’s just making it up as he goes along, really.

Despite only being three minutes and fifty three seconds in duration, it’s got everything in it. Yep…from Bush nostalgia to West Country Rapping.

Help Bill to win £20,000 for International Animal Rescue

Posted by Bombyx Mori on March 13th, 2009

A lady called Elisa Hembry got in contact with the worms in The Bunker and asked whether Bill would call Christian on Absolute Radio for the rather appropriately named “Who’s calling Christian?” segment, and he did. If enough people vote for him, not only does he get £20,000 for International Animal Rescue, but Elisa gets £20,000 too. So, if you want to try to help the animals (and Elisa), you can vote for Bill via this link – go to the place where it says ‘love it’. You can listen to the telephone call too, if you like.

Bill Bailey: Live

Posted by Bombyx Mori on March 2nd, 2009

Instead of braving the elements by performing at festivals this year, Bill has decided to move indoors where the acoustics are better and the Tibetan Hat stalls are less frequent. Coinciding with the 150th anniversary of the publication of Darwin’s seminal work, ‘On the Origin of Species’, Bill will continue to provide the masses with his comedic take on the world, showing us all that he is really is one of a kind.

The Bill Bailey: Live tour will feature much new material as well as including parts of Tinselworm, performed at the Gielgud recently, which was in itself a significant development on from the arena shows.

Before you admonish us severely, we must apologise sincerely as tickets have already gone on sale for The Lowry in Salford and Dublin Olympia without our knowledge, but you can now buy tickets for dates at Oxford and Bristol now.

Additional dates at Glasgow, Nottingham and Plymouth will go on sale soon. Keep an eye on this News blog for further updates, or register for the email newsletter (below) for exclusive pre-sale announcements only available to newsletter subscribers.

All dates and links for purchasing tickets can be found on our Tour page here.
